Silent Majority by Kenneth Clarke
A somewhere I know there must be where you are
A place hidden in the depths of darkness and shame
Yes, I see you now, in the sea of conformity
Oh please tell me my friend what happened to you
Your reputation is not the same since you copped out
Do you have any idea what they are calling you now?
Why you are being labeled as the Silent Majority
Now don't come on like that with me my friend
Your head bowed low as if an admission of shame
For now you must have the courage to accept your fate
For you've worked hard at doing nothing for your title
So let me commend you for your silence and complacency
You which are quick to criticize and slow to praise
You who lack respect for the children you've raised
You that are filled with selfish craving for material success
You who have the knowledge of the atom and the universe
Yet can't even get along with your fellow man
I appeal to you now before it is too to late
Ignor the falsely fabricated society you have created
Take a hard look at yourself in the mirror of life
Re-establish your codes of existance and reasons for living
For I feel there is but one hope for this world of ours
And that's for each one of us to work together for peace
Showing not through selfish pride and personal gain
But thru love and understanding that we care about one another
With God as our witness may this our solemn pledge be
That we might rise up together in battle against adversity
Using as our platform these three, Faith, Hope and Love
