The Best of Las Vegas

Las Vegas is often rated as the number one adventure town. A threehour perimeter around Las Vegas contains six national parks, including Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce Canyon, two national recreation areas, 13 state parks, and millions of acrea of national forest. Double that and you have Utah's powdery slopes, Yosemite, and the Pacific coastline are within easy striking distance. Want boating and fishing, go to Lake Mead. No other city has more restaurants run by world famous chiefs than Las Vegas. In this category I will attempt to list, review, and provide up-to-date information on a variety of the Las Vegas areas' best dinning and entertainment venues. Because there is so much that can be added here, it will take quite a while to get this "up to speed". As a result, I will try to add several items each week, making it a work in progress.

Whether you are a "local" resident or planning on making the area a vacation destination, you will find helpful information here.
