10/25/2008 - We just came back from one of the most amazing vocal performances we have ever seen. A free performance by Darlene Koldenhoven at the Events Plaza in downtown Henderson. She is a Grammy® Award winner and three-time nominee, who is probably best recognized for her performance as a vocal soloist in "Yanni - live at the Acropolis, which has been viewed worldwide by more than 1.5 billion people on PBS. She is one of the few classically trained singers with a five-octave range who vocally improvises in classical and non-classical styles, produces, composes, arranges, plays keyboards, and writes lyrics.

Her latest album, "Infinite Voice" shall be just that in the chronicles of time, be it for pure musical enjoyment, or for its meditative and restorative effects. She created and produced this album, a magnificent masterpiece of musicianship and performance, in less than a year while at the same time authoring and publishing an innovative, comprehensive music education book with 7 instructional CDs to train the mind's musical ear and teach people how to sing entitled, "Tune Your Voice."
