SYNOPSIS: Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment have finally released the highly anticipated sequel to Iron Man, the blockbuster film based on the legendary Marvel Super Hero “Iron Man,” played again by Robert Downey Jr. After billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) makes the world aware that he is the armored Super Hero Iron Man he is placed under extreme pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military. Because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands, tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces in the form of Mickey Rourke.
REVIEW: Stark's character in the first movie was a little more human. In Iron Man 2 he is more of a synthetic "superhero" and not quite as believable. You sometimes feel that they threw in everything but the kitchen sink in an effort to meet the high expectations of a sequal. I sometimes felt that the action was a little too fast paced. Mickey Rourke provides a relatively fine performance as the film's villain, however, in the end Downey Jr. makes it all worthwhile. I still liked it and give it [4-Stars].
