Dining Review–“Monstah Lobstah”

Monstah Lobstah-2SYNOPSIS: Serving the freshest seafood imported directly from Maine, the owner's first restaurant is located in Tampa Bay, Florida. Lucky for us, his second restaurant is now located at 2551 Anthem Village Dr., here in Henderson. They offer the finest hard shell lobsters directly from the cold waters in Maine, ranging in sizes from 1 1/4 lbs all the way to jumbo 6lb lobsters. In addition to the towns freshest lobster, they also offer a full seafood menu including fresh New England Snow Crab, Clams, Shrimp, Scallops and Haddock fillets. They also serve other breakfast, lunch and dinner items at reasonable prices all day, however, I don't know why you you want to go for anything but the seafood.

REVIEW: On our first visit, we were hoping to have some good 'ol New England fried Haddock. Unfortunately, they were out and were not expecting another shipment for two days. The waitress did however, provide us with a business card and recommended that we call next time to verify that they had it in stock. We ended up having a cup of seafood chowder and the large order of New England style whole belly fried clams. We both though the chowder was just average, however, the fried clams were delicious. The second time we went we had a 2-1 Main lobster special on a coupon we had received via email for signing up at their web site. Two 1-1/4 lb lobsters, hush puppies, and corn on the cob, for $24.95. The lobster was tender and cooked perfectly; the hush puppies for very tasty, and the corn on the cob was better than average. As all the seafood is listed as "Market Price" on the menu, this was a great deal. We can't wait to go back and try the haddock.
