The Celebrity City Chorus

This is the second event is as many weeks that we have attended at the Henderson Events Plaza, and again we were impressed.

Opened in just the past year, this is just a beautify facility. Parking is a breeze, there isn't a bad seat in the house, you can bring your "coolers" and have a picnic, the acoustics are excellent, and best of all, nearly every event is free.

Even though we screwed up on the start time and were there two hours early, we throughly enjoyed the Celebrity City Chorus concert at the Henderson Events Center. The long wait wasn't as bad as it could have been as we brought a picnic dinner and our books. Typical lately, it was just another beautiful evening, in the 80's with a slight breeze.

The Celebrity City Chorus is a group of local women who enjoy singing a capella four-part harmony, barbershop style. This evening's performance, which started off with a full color guard supplied by Nellis Air Force Base, was filled with patriotic songs in honor of upcoming Flag Day.
