Movie Review – “Edge of Darkness”

Movie - Edge of Darkness
REVIEW: Though the first half provides a solid, sensitive performance, it slowly becomes disjointed with inconsistent action, centering on maniacal Mad Mel. However, in spite of several foreseeable twists and overused plot points, it was still fairly well written and we had a lot of fun watching Mel Gibson kick ass.  He also gets to deliver some great lines. If you like your Mel Gibson out of control and a little bit crazy, this thriller is definitely a movie for you.  We give it [4-1/2 Stars].

SYNOPSIS: Mel Gibson stars as Thomas Craven, a man who has spent years as a detective in Boston. When his own daughter is killed in the doorway of his own home, Craven realizes that her death is only one piece of a puzzle filled with corruption and conspiracy, and it falls to him to discover who is behind the crime.
