REVIEW: We have been looking for a good, and reasonable, seafood restaurant ever since our previous favorite, Bonefish, closed last month. Well, I think we found one! We went to dinner here on Easter Sunday and had a very good meal. For appetizers I had the Dungeness crab, Avocado and
Mango Tower; Connie had the Baked Escargot with Porcini Truffle Butter and Garlic Bread. The escargots were very tender and tasted delicious. Both of these were so good we could have ordered two more and called it dinner. We then both ordered 8 oz glasses of wine. You have a choice of 4 or 8 ounce glasses. For a dinner entree I chose the Lobster Stuffed Ravioli topped with Blue Crab In a Light White Cream Sauce with Roasted Tomatoes and Spinach. Connie chose the Rainbow Trout with an Almond Crust and Lemon Butter. Connie's trout was a little dry. My ravioli's were filled with lobster. I wanted to share a dessert and Connie didn’t. So Justin, probably one of the best waiters I've ever had, offered to share it with me. I ordered the Apple Crisp with Vanilla Bean ice cream. When he brought it, he pulled up a chair and dug in with us, making sure Connie got the first bite. It was delicious. He was very good.
FOOD: 3.5 Stars, AMBIANCE: 4 Stars, SERVICE: 5 Stars, NOISE: 5 Stars, We give it an OVERALL RATING of: 4.25 Stars
