Caydan Campbell

Proud grampa sent this picture of little Caydan Campbell to share with everyone. Well, he's not exactly little anymore. He is now 5 months old and is 18 pounds and 27 inches.

We don't know who is more proud, Marisa or Grampa. Here is another way of remembering him at 5 months. You can say, "This is a picture of Caydan when gas was $3.52 per gallon."

My Cousin Johnny's 2008 Visit

Here are a few pictures from John's visit in March. He was here for nearly 10 days and we had a great time listening to the stories from his "road travels" over the past four months of transversing the U.S. In the middle of his stay, a friend of his came down from Fairbanks, Alaska and stayed with him in his RV for three days.

We got to tour his newly acquired Lazy Daze RV and spend several days traveling around the area visiting destinations such as the "oldest saloon" in Nevada, Red Rock Canyon, Lake Las Vegas and Lake Meade. Naturally, we went out to eat at least once every day. I think our best meal was at [Bonefish] one of our favorite fish restaurants, in which Johnny treated. When we were not eating, we talked a lot about our usual subjects; electronics, computers, our problems with them, new cameras, taking photos, and other hobby interests.
Of course every night we had to have a chocolate ice cream sundae. All except Connie that is, she gave up after the third day.
Considering that John was the last person we thought we would see again after our moving to Las Vegas, this was his third visit in as many years. All-in-all it was a fun visit and we can't wait to seeing him again next year. Next fall, it looks like we may be taking a trip to Texas and Arkansas for Thanksgiving. Maybe will be able to meet him at one of the camp grounds he stays at on our way out and back.

Ken & Christina's Wedding Pics

Yea, I know, it was back in December. I have been a little slow in getting some of these things done lately, but you know how it is when you get old. If not, let me explain. Half the time you forget, the other half you're trying to remember what is was that you forgot. By the time you remember, you either have company for a week or something else seems to be more important. Then by the time you get around to it, it takes you 10 times as long to accomplish as it used to.

Proud papa walking her down the aisle!

I Do!

The proud Mama and Papa. Sorry Marissa, looks like mom wanted center stage. Oh well, who could blame her.

There were so many good pictures to choose from, it was very hard to decide what to put up here. I hope you are happy with the selections.

I know, it kind of looks like a picture of the last supper. The way Marissa was eating, we thought it was.

You can tell by the look on her face, there was nobody more proud of you than your Mother!

Cheryl, Meaghan & Family

Here are some pictures of Meaghan, her husband Rob and her son Cylus, Connie's first grandchild.

Cylus with his grandmother, Cheryl. We must be getting old. It's hard to believe that Cheryl is a grandmother and Connie is a great grandmother.

Even though he was only here for 5-days and we only got to seem him on three of those days, we enjoyed each others company and "catching up" on things and people back in New Hampshire. Both of these pictures were taken at Bonefish, one of our favorite seafood restaurants. Sol had the Chilean Sea Bass and Connie and I had the Pistachio Encrusted Trout. It was a fun evening and the food was very good as usual.
